VAN HISE is a personal project rooted in creativity and design.

During a long career that began in her native New York in the 90s and continues in Barcelona since 2001, Carrie Van Hise has contributed her vision to a diverse range of international projects, from brand design to accessory collections, wallpaper, art direction and photography.

In 2014 she began her collaboration with the Spanish fashion house Pertegaz as creative director until she founded her own brand six years later. Under her label she combines the design of her scarves with other disciplines that make up her visual language.

In her Barcelona based studio she creates limited edition collections and timeless capsules following a "slow" philosophy. She collaborates with local workshops in Spain and Italy where the pieces are finished by hand.

Carrie´s style is influenced by her high sensitivity and is better explained with images than with words. The colors and simple shapes that inspire her designs are present in everyday life and help her capture a personal vision of beauty in all her work.
