Maya Lin created this "interactive" garden based on a poem written by her brother, Tan Lin. Lin is best known for the moving Vietnam War Veterans' Memorial in Washington DC. In collaboration with Corsair Studio in New York, we designed the typography that was both fabricated in steel and carved into granite. The objective was to integrate the language with the physical space and encourage visitors to choose their own path through the non-linear poem.
